Onitsuka Tiger has joined forces with tokidoki, the Japanese-inspired lifestyle brand created by Simone Legno, on an exclusive footwear collaboration that will combine Japanese heritage, culture and art. The limited-edition collection will be available beginning June 1, 2008 at 15 retailers throughout the United States, as well as globally, and will likely become a collector’s item for sneaker connoisseurs and tokidoki fans alike. Two unisex styles and two women’s styles in various colors will be available for a total of eight styles including both a low-top and mid-top silhouette. Prices will be $120 for the low-tops and $130 for the mid-tops.

NY Armory Show 08

Was without a doubt art week in the city! Countless shows hit NY including the NY Armory Show, Bridge Art Fair, and Pulse. Even more parties, foreign accents, and traffic flooded the city while most nyc kids escaped to the WMC madness.

This weekend I had the opportunity to work the booth for recently launched Art World Magazine based out of London (thanks Cat!) Hopefully you were able to pick up a copy if you came through the Armory show. Lines to get in Pier 94 stretched down the block as people anticipated viewing over 150 international galleries works by living artists. I was sprung you could actually walk through the show and snap pics of the works. Mass Appeal Magazine Casting Call

Mass Appeal Magazine is hosting a massive casting call for girls. Aids Walk 2008

So I'm not really sure what's come over me this year but I'm definitely a lady on a mission! I've been all about holding down my job, getting back in school, and picking up an interesting freelance project which will soon be revealed. Recently, I made the decision to participate in this years Aids Walk and have also formed a team called MEOW (MOST EXCELLENT OUTRAGEOUS WOMEN) to join me in my little adventure.

Here's what it comes down to. At some point you realize how fortunate you are in your life and its time to start giving back. End of Story.

So getting down to it! Its time to start raising money for Aids walk and I've set a fundraising goal of $1,000 which I can achieve with your support. Minimum donation is $25 and up (depending on how much your wallet is willing to spare). Of course everything is tax deductible which means you can write it off come tax time.
